Model maker architect
On a model we have the railway with its beautiful traveling train, but it needs an environment made up of houses, bridges, trees and industrial structures.
Pretty much everything around him.
The simplest solution is to purchase a house or house assembly box and follow the assembly instructions. Unfortunately it does not reflect the scenario we want to reproduce.
Let's build a house that is located along the railway.
The dimensions are obtained from the height-length ratio, the 4 or more sides are drawn in the 1/87 dimensions. And we go to cut a sheet of cardboard, or plywood or plasticine, after drawing with the PC, for greater precision, all sides, perforated the windows and doors.
I want to dwell on the roof in particular. It is not easy to reproduce the Tuscan tile. I succeeded in using the packaging of the Mulino Bianco. A first sheet is spread with vinavil, a second sheet is cut into strips from one centimeter, put in the water and the corrugated is detached from the plate. Still wet, lay on the base prepared before and overlap strip by strip to cover a whole card.
It is painted with red, orange, yellow tempera and once it has dried everything, it is cut out and placed on the roof.
Another typical construction of the area is the Casa della Bonifica. In the area there are six of these buildings dating back to the early 1900s. They were the homes of the keepers of the ditches and streams up to the 1960s. One different to the other for a few details. The choice from me is unique for the cylindrical turret.

The details are so many that I had to do more than 50 slides.
The entrance portals to the two end rackets were initially two unpretentious holes. Invited to Gubbio with the VBF model, Lisandro master model maker of Gubbio wanted me to make the two gallery entrances in construction material.
